Chairman/President: Steve has been in the Small Business Administration “SBA” lending business for over twenty-five years. After passing the CPA exam, he worked in the accounting and real estate development fields for several years. In 1987 Steve began a Small Business Investment Company (“SBIC”) licensed by the U.S. Small Business Administration. SBIC’s make loans and venture/mezzanine investments to eligible small businesses. Steve was the President of that company until he sold his interest in the early 1990’s. In April of 1994, Steve was approved by the SBA to purchase and operate The Loan Source Inc. which is one of only fourteen Small Business Lending Companies (“SBLC”). Steve has remained Chairman and President of the company since its inception and is the senior member of The Loan Source Inc.’s Credit Committee. He is one of only a handful of people who has owned and operated both an SBIC and an SBLC which enables him to provide a unique perspective for access to capital to small businesses. Steve is a graduate of Arizona State University with a B.S. in Accounting.
Senior Vice President: Terri began her career in corporate banking at Citibank in New York City. She was a global relationship manager assisting with covering the bank’s largest securities broker dealers and investment banks within the Financial Institutions Division. Terri assisted with making credit decisions for her clients, ongoing account, credit management and transaction banking, including loans. She coordinated marketing Citibank products and services and credit activities for her clients worldwide. Terri left Citibank after sixteen years to join her husband Steve at The Loan Source Inc. and together they managed The Loan Source Inc. until their son, Joshua joined the company. She is a member of The Loan Source Inc’s Credit Committee. Terri is a graduate of University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Finance.
Counsel: Joshua is an attorney licensed in the State of New York. He joined The Loan Source Inc., working part time, both during and after law school. Following law school, Joshua worked as a Judicial Fellow for the New York State Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court where he conducted research, made recommendations and drafted opinions in a broad spectrum of legal fields including criminal, civil (including real estate and business matters), family and surrogate’s disputes. Joshua began working in the family business full time in 2016 and has since managed loan closings and legal issues for the company. He is also a member of the Company’s Credit Committee. Joshua is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a A.B in Political Science and a graduate of the Fordham School of Law with a JD degree.
